Trekking

For Sunday hikers and for the fittest: Riva del Garda offers itineraries of all kinds, with enchanting views, step after step. Among the most evocative and easy routes are the one to Punta Larici, known as "the balcony over Garda" and the Ponale path overlooking the lake. Want something more challenging? Climb Monte Stivo or walk the Path of Peace with the relics of WWI.

Bike

Cycling driven by the Garda breeze: if you haven't done it yet, mark it on your bucket list. The shape of the territory around Riva del Garda allows multi-faceted itineraries ideal for bikes. Go along the lake on the Riva-Limone suspended cycling route, reach Arco and Torbole along a circular route amid olive trees and vineyards or pedal as far as Val di Ledro or Valle dei Laghi.

Iron path and climbing

All enthusiasts know it: Riva del Garda and Arco are the meccas of climbing. To those who don't know this sport yet, there is no better place to start. An experienced local guide can accompany you. To touch the rocks first-hand, you can also take one of the local via ferratas: the one at Cima Capi, super panoramic but also suitable for beginners, while the Ferrata dell'Amicizia starts right behind the suites.
